MINI Tariff Updates

BMW Tarrifs

UPDATED April 8, 2025

A Statement from MINI USA On April 3, the tariffs announced by President Trump took effect, impacting all imported automobiles. Furthermore, the tariff on the foreign manufactured auto parts, such as engines, transmissions, and powertrain components, are expected to be implemented by May 3. While these tariffs are expected to be permanent, we are proactively preparing for various scenarios to ensure our business remains uninterrupted.

In light of the current trade environment, we are pleased to inform you that pricing for all models will remain stable at least through May production. Additionally, we have robust inventory levels of vehicles that are not affected by these tariffs, which will help us maintain our momentum as we move into the second quarter.

As the situation continues to evolve, we will assess the developments and take a balanced and pragmatic approach to how we steer the business. The stability provided by our pricing decision, along with our commitment to competitive retail support, positions us favorably to advance our business objectives.

We are dedicated to keeping you informed with the latest updates and ensuring transparency as new information arises.
