Join ONYX Automotive in Supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month

 
This October, ONYX Automotive was proud to participate in Breast Cancer Awareness Month, honoring those affected by the disease and contributing to life-saving efforts. Beginning October 1st, ONYX launched a series of activities to raise awareness and support for breast cancer patients in our community.

Our biggest event was PINK OUT DAY on October 18th, 2024! We invited everyone—employees, customers, and friends—to join us by wearing pink! A Driving Good Breast Cancer Awareness t-shirt was designed for associates to purchase. We are proud to share that ONYX raised $3,140 from the Pink Out Day t-shirt sales! 100% of the donations support the Lymphedema Prevention Program for Breast Cancer Patients at Nebraska Medicine.

Events & Activities Throughout the Month

Several other activities were planned throughout October to continue raising awareness and offering support for those impacted by breast cancer.

Pink Ribbon Pins

All ONYX Automotive associates received Pink Ribbon Pins to show their support in October. We encouraged everyone to wear these pins throughout the month to visibly show support and raise awareness for breast cancer.

Tribute Wall

ONYX had a Tribute Wall where both associates and customers honored loved ones affected by breast cancer. This wall offered a space for reflection, support, and remembrance of those who have battled or are battling breast cancer.

Decorated Trunks (Dealership Showroom’s Only)

In a creative display of solidarity, ONYX decorated the trunk of a vehicle on the showroom floor with pink-themed decorations courtesy of our Work Improvement Group. These displays served as a unique way to bring awareness to everyone who visited our dealerships throughout the month.

How You Can Make an Impact

The H+H Group is committed to supporting breast cancer patients and their families. All proceeds from the sales of our Driving Good Breast Cancer Awareness t-shirts will benefit the Lymphedema Prevention Program for Breast Cancer Patients at Nebraska Medicine. This program is dedicated to improving the lives of breast cancer survivors by offering crucial care and support for lymphedema, a painful and often debilitating condition that affects many cancer patients.

Supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month
